Dear Father Joe
Marriage is all about the oneness of love.
It is about belonging to God through His Son our Lord Jesus, Sovereign Christ and King.
It is a sacred vow that you both make to each other to always love, honor and cherish until death do you part.
A vow that is witnessed by close friends and family members.
But most importantly a vow that is Holy before God and to be sealed by the Grace of God's servants here on earth.
That is why Alexi and I feel constantly Blessed to have had our Wedding Vows witnessed by Fr. Joseph Ryan.
A man who himself has vowed to sacrifice his life in the service of doing Gods work.
Because we knew that day on the 9th of August 2005 that God was witness in the presence of His Loyal and Faithful servant Fr. Joseph Ryan to the vows that Alexi and I made and that Fr. Joe blessed with all the love and compassion that was needed from him in order to make them feel real.
But the Greatest gift is in knowing that for the rest of your married life together through all the good times and the bad, through all the friends who come and go, that you both will always have that one person who Blessed you, giving you constant guidance and council and prayers, keeping you straight, holding you fast and praying on your behalf.
Alexi and I thank God every day for sending us Fr. Joe - without him in our lives our marriage vows would have been just empty words on a crowed page.
