Ceremonies

Criostuil & Spioradalta - Spiritual & Ecumenical

I am always conscious of the diversity of faith and belief systems of others, and with this in mind, have left my own self open to the different ways that we can all share and celebrate in the joy of others who wish to exchange their committments to one another in a way different to that of which I would be normally aware.

To this end, it has been an education in itself for me to officiate at ceremonies which the couple - themselves of deep, personal belief and faith - have wrote and it is refreshing to be party to how others wish to celebrate their love for each other.

I have also had the pleasure of working with other clergy from the different faiths and denominations in preparing and officiating at a ceremony.

It is important for others and indeed for myself that all are respected in life, and when it comes to their belief / faith, then utmost respect must be accorded, and I certainly have no problem in this regard.

I will work with any person or couple who wishes to express their love for one another in such a way, and will be more than happy to officiate if so required.

Beannu - Blessing Services

This ceremony is very personalised, and can take place anywhere outside of a church.

Many couples tend to choose a location which has a personal and special meaning for them.

* Readings, including Psalm and Gospel

* Declaration of Consent

* Exchange of Vows, Rings & Kiss

* Handfasting & Final Blessing

Please note that there is no requirement for a pre marriage course to be attended for this service.

However, if a couple wish to so attend such a course, they would certainly be encouraged to so do.

Athnuachan Moideanna - Renewal Of Vows

This is indeed a very special time for those who wish to re-affirm their love for and to each other, and many wish to have other family members present, especially their own children.

Such a ceremony can be located anywhere that is again of special meaning to the couple and many couples wish to also write their own vows of renewal.

* Readings (which can be chosen by couple themselves)

* Vows (can also be written by couple or they may wish to also use their original wedding day vows.

* Special Handfasting & Blessing
